Schellinger targets pain at the pump

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jim Schellinger today issued a three-part plan aimed at controlling rising fuel costs by applying immediate pressure in Washington, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and developing a long-term plan at the state level.

“As gas prices continue to rise, Hoosiers are struggling to make ends meet, but we need to focus on real solutions, not election year pandering, to address this critical issue,” Schellinger said. “I’ve taken the time to look at the many facets of this problem, and my proposal addresses those facets in a comprehensive way.”
